The Adjunct Instructor (AI) works under the supervision of the Program Director and is responsible for clinical and laboratory supervision and the evaluation of students. The AI is accountable for student outcomes and acts as a resource for students providing support remediation and referral as needed. The AI shall maintain professional competence in their specific discipline through such activities as practice continuing education programs conferences workshops seminars academic courses research projects and professional writing. The AI participates in community and institutional service activities which contribute to the mission of RHS and RCHC. The AI performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required. A minimum of an RRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist. Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiology program.
Experience: 3 years full-time, or equivalent, recent (within last 5 years) clinical experience or teaching in the specified field required, or a combination of the two prior to hire date; experience in a clinical educational setting preferred; formal didactic teaching experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers Required Licensure/certification credentials must meet the respective accrediting bodies' requirements. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist in good standing.
