  • Overview

    This position works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurses and the under the direction of the NM RN and LPNs. The Support Assistant is responsible for customer service chart management retrieval of reports and patient care duties to include rounding answering call bells performing EKGs as directed . The Support Assistant is also responsible for performing duties such as ordering supplies order entry filing of patient information and follow up to patients and physician offices and other secretarial/clerical duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    Education: High School diploma preferred.

     

    Certification: CPR required within one year and maintained thereafter.

    Experience: One year of secretarial experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient in healthcare computer based systems.

    Hours: 7:00pm-7:30am
