    Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager Supervisor RN LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing as applicable. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to facility policy and procedures. May perform other duties assigned.

The facility has 135 Independent Living Apartments and 131 total Assisted Living units, 22 of those being Memory Support.

    Education: Certificate Program Nursing Assistant/Aid Required ONLY for new CNA grads within 120 days of program completion. Medication Technician Certification is required in an Assited Living setting. 

    Experience: Previous experience is not required.


    Licensure / Certification: Have successfully completed a state board approved nursing assistant program which includes a competency evaluation acceptable-the board of nursing. Have never had a finding of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of patient property entered on the Nurse Aide Registry. BLS Health Care Provider Required (within 30 day of hire) STANDARD FIRST AID: (within 30 days of hire) Required for AL/Memory Support units only
