Works under the supervision of the physician Office Manager RN and LPN. The certified medical assistant performs a wide range of clinical duties including assisting the physician in providing quality care in a medical office setting. The certified medical assistant must be able to demonstrate the knowledge required to provide age appropriate care for the patients served in the practice and skills to interpret assessment in relation to principles of growth and development over the life span. In addition the certified medical assistant must be knowledgeable of health insurance guidelines for preauthorizations and referral processes and be attentive to scheduling testing and specialist visits within network guidelines.

Opportunity for CMA who is looking for variety of tasks within a specialty office. The right candidate will join a busy, 1 physician practice located in the Medical Office Building at Kings Way. Position supports the physician, LPN and audiologist with rooming, scope reprocessing, surgical scheduling, referrals, and triage phone calls. This fast-paced practice is an ideal location for those wanting to have direct patient interaction and be part of their healing. CMA certificate required. Job-related training will occur during on boarding for ENT specific responsibilities.
Education: Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience: One year of clinical medical office experience preferred.
Licensure/Certificatin: Medical Assistant Certification required. Current CPR Certification
