    As the Executive Assistant this position reports directly to the Nurse Executive. This position assists other Clinical Directors/Managers at the facility when requested. Provides high-level executive assistant support by conducting research preparing statistical reports handling information requests and manages multiple priorities and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence visitor reception arranging meetings and using all forms of meeting agendas and software programs to complete the job. Provides former School of Nursing students with copies of educational documentation. The Executive Assistant is responsible for taking minutes at Management Team Management, Patient Experience, Staff Patient Experience and Nursing Leadership meetings. Assists in organizing policies and procedure resources for the facility. This position provides a large range of services to ensure clinical care is provided in accordance with standards of excellence established by Riverside Health System and facility goals and strategic plans. This position is responsible for integration with the system's standards of performance. This position is responsible for demonstrating RHS Leadership values and the Riverside Care Difference competently.

    Shore Memorial Hospital is located in Onancock, Virginia on the beautiful Eastern Shore! Onancock is a rural area with beaches and wildlife to include the 9,000 acre Chincoteague wildlife refuge. This brand new, state of the art facility is a 52-bed hospital with private rooms, a Surgical Suite with three operating rooms, a ten bed Intensive Care Unit, and an advanced Emergency Department with all private treatment rooms. The hospital has expanded the outpatient services to include a diagnostic center with advanced imaging services including MRI and CT scanner, on-campus Cancer Care Center and a freestanding medical office building housing our specialty physician offices.     Qualifications

    Education: College degree preferred.

    Experience: Minimum of five years related experience required. Medical terminology, computer experience, and typing 55-60 WPM required. Ability-use Word, Excel and other software necessary for position.
