    Riverside Employee Occupational Health is seeking a Labor Pool Registered Nurse to join their team. 
    Works under the supervision of the Employee Occupational Health Manager. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of team members. Responsible for assessing employees with return to work notes due to injury or illness, assisting with HR and Leave Management for accommodation requests, data entry, maintaining records, performing surveillance of employee accidents and/or illnesses, reviewing and maintain workers compensation data in timely and accurate manner, annual mandated testing (TB screening and mask fit testing) and compliance, provide immunizations, urine drug screens, and blood draws as directed by RHS or Facility policies. Provides hands on clinical care to include manual vitals, medication(s) review, injections and blood draws. Performs clerical and nursing duties in support of Employee Occupational Health functions. Performs other duties as assigned. In addition must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform EOH functions. Promotes and maintains safe work environment for team members as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives. Works under the direction of leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of services and clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards of excellence established by Riverside Health System and facility goals and strategic plans.


    EDUCATION:  MSN, BSN, ADN, or nursing diploma required.  


    EXPERIENCE: One year of healthcare experience as an RN required.  Experience working in Occupational Health preferred.


    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:  Licensed RN or board eligible by the State of Virginia or compact state.  Requires BLS for Healthcare Provider certification by the American Heart Association. ACLS preferred. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred.
