    Riverside's Cardiovascular Specialists- Newport News is looking for an experienced RN to join their team! 


    Works with the supervision of the Practice Manager and the practice physicians. Responsible for overseeing day to day clinic schedules. Responsible for the technician schedule for proper clinical coverage. Able to work in any schedule and able to cover all positions as needed. Responsible for training new clinical staff and updates for current staff. Responsible for tracking technician productivity. Responsible for regular chart reviews. Maintains current knowledge of all procedures and proper work up techniques. Along with the Office Manager conducts interview and hires to fill open positions.

    The Peninsula has over 30 specialty practices and 14 primary care practices. The peninsula in southeast Virginia is bounded by the York River, James River, Hampton Roads and Chesapeake Bay. It is sometimes known as the Lower Peninsula to distinguish it from two other peninsulas to the north (Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck). With a population of 1.8 million people, it is the seventh-largest metropolitan area in the Southeast and the 32nd largest in the United States. The Virginia Peninsula is a diverse area made up of many neighboring cities with unique character and opportunities. The area is very unique with a large number of military bases and several large colleges and universities as well as other large healthcare systems. The attractions are endless with so many historical sites to visit and a long list of museums and theaters.


    Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred.

    Experience: One year of experience in an doctor's office setting preferred. 

    Licensure/Certification:Licensed RN or board eligible by the State of Virginia or compact state. Current BLS Certification Required
