  • Overview

    This individual will work across RHS entities and the continuum of care to assure the highest quality of care and experience to our Cardiac, Vascular, and Neuroscience service line patients across RHS. Reports Directly to the Service Line Administrative and Physician leadership with dotted line to SVP of Quality. This role requires significant autonomy and works with limited supervision. This individual is responsible for developing and leading complex inter-departmental and multi-entity performance projects that address identified gaps in performance or aspirations for higher level of outcomes. Is responsible for leading the assessment and action planning of all relevant internal and external comparative data for quality, safety, and efficiency relative to assigned service line. Uses data to identify opportunities in patient care and experience outcomes to support excellence in national benchmarking, payor expectations and population health management.

    • Is adept with qualitative, quantitative or technical tools needed to perform the job
    • Maintains  service line registries  for accuracy and to ensure timely submission of data
    • Able to understand and apply information, policies, procedures and skills required by the position.
    • Working closely with Community leadership, providers, and payors to establish relationships between and among groups
    • Consistently uses data to work with key stakeholders to build and supporting the culture, and contributes to fostering an atmosphere of constructive growth and expansion.
    • Supports leadership in the development of business plans that includes quality and outcomes measurements


    Education: Bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree in a healthcare related field or MBA is preferred. 


    Experience: Background in a clinical position within healthcare as well as Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt would be beneficial. 2-3 years of quality management or performance improvement experience is required. 


    Licensure: Certification or licensure in a healthcare related field is preferred.
