Works under the supervision of the Director of Facilities Operations and is responsible for providing leadership direction and mentorship/support to the staff of all departments under the supervision of the Director of Facility Operations. Monitors and maintains a quality working environment in promoting effective employee relations. Responsible for management of day-to-day departmental requirements and provide input to the Director for performance appraisals counseling and participates in the training process to develop employees. Includes organizing planning and evaluating services provided to support the facility operations. In conjunction with the Director of Facility Operations assure compliance with regulatory agencies and undertake special projects as identified. Operates each department cost-efficiently in a quality-oriented manner to achieve excellent customer service. Ensures both consistency and compliance with company and departmental policies/procedures and performance standards. Implements operational plans to achieve designated objectives established performance goals and quality standards. Identifies reports and communicates to the department manager trends and/or irregularities. Takes a proactive approach to analyzing deficiencies and developing plans to correct. Recommends and implements solutions by involving staff in problem solving to obtain the best results. Participate in staff meetings to review department changes and statistics respond to questions and communicate any concerns/issues to the group. Assist in developing goals and objectives with individuals and provides appropriate follow-up.

Education: High school Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Experience: 3- 5 years of general maintenance required and 2 years working in a healthcare environment required. Ability to read and understand maintenance work requests. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and support services functions and operations. Understanding of inventory management and financial tracking. Supervisory experience preferred.
Certification: Certification in Microsoft Office products preferred.
