    Riverside Health System has an immediate career opportunity for a Hospice Agency Nurse Manager.     The Nurse Manager supervises client care staff and non-clinical staff of respective facilities which includes completing performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Responsible for the quality of care staff productivity staff moral staff scheduling and staff compliance with departmental/RHS policies procedures and guidelines. The Nurse Manager will investigate and resolve employee and/or client complaints. The Nurse Manager will maintain and promote positive working relationships with physicians physician offices other Riverside facilities and contracted services. Also responsible for management of departmental budget including expenditures for capital and labor. The Nurse Manager will remain up-to-date with changes and overall procedures for Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial insurance reimbursement practices.

    • Graduate of an accredited RN diploma program
    • BSN preferred


    • 4 years of nursing experience (home care setting preferred)
    • 2 years of supervisory experience (i.e. charge nurse, supervisor, manager)


    • Licensed RN or board eligible by the State of Virginia or compact state and in good standing
    • Must have and maintain BLS Provider Certification
    • Must have and maintain:
      • a current valid driver's license with proof of satisfactory driving record/history
      • proof of auto liability coverage as required by Virginia State law
    • Specialty certification in field highly encouraged
