This facility Director is supervised by RRMC's Administrator and the CMO. This person is responsible for the smooth and effective operations of the facility on a 24-hour basis. Following appropriate practice, this position:
In collaboration with the Medical Director (pathologist), this position is also responsible for the technical, financial, compliance and Human Resource aspects of the full-service Anatomic and Clinical Pathology laboratories at RRMC/RHS centralized laboratory.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Masters or doctorate preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with 3 years of progressive experience in health care management specifically in laboratory services.
Certification: ASCP certification in Cytology, Histology, Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences required.
