Overview

Works under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance. Performs basic electrical plumbing painting and carpentry work. Responsible for the installation maintenance ( preventive and corrective) troubleshooting and repair of facility buildings and equipment. Renovations to rooms and apartments. Work with other departments on special assignments. Subject to on-call coverage shift changes and emergency 12 hour shifts (i.e. snow removal hurricane clean up etc. ). Snow removal/storm clean-up includes but is not limited to shoveling and cleaning of entranceways walkways and parking lots of snow ice and/or debris. Assists with the clean-up of spills. Must be able to work for residents in independent living and assisted living. Must have computer skills to take NetLearning courses.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: One year in commercial equipment repair preferred.

Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record to drive company vehicles. CFC certified preferred.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm and occasional weekends.
