The student intern works under the supervision of the coordinator, qualified / credentialed technical team members, director or manager of the department and a qualified physician.  Works within their defined skill sets as a student intern Ultrasonographer in ECHO Cardiography or Non Invasive Vascular Imaging. Utilizes established policies and protocols performing the Ultrasonographer tests / procedures for the age specific population served within the assigned department. Functions as a team member responsible for the preparation and maintenance of imaging equipment, instrumentation and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care.  Works with department team members open to feedback and suggestions in review of all acquired images to include technical detail / critique and final data preliminary report submission.
