Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions in electronic pneumatic automatic control system circuits. Installs repairs and replaces pipes and fittings to maintain the heating water steam and drainage systems throughout the hospital. Ability to solder sweat and braze. Prepares areas where piping work is to be performed by taking apart and securing current systems. Fixes steam systems/boilers by repairing pumps and heat exchanges removing and replacing coils and replacing valves and associated equipment. Assists other Facilities Engineering Department personnel on hospital repairs/projects. Recognizes limitations and seeks assistance in making corrections. Maintains self control when placed in stressful situations. Observes guidelines for meals and breaks. Demonstrates good radio and telephone etiquette. Attends staff meetings. Attends all required in-services training and continuing education provided. Completes required CBL modules in Net Learning. Reviews the Facilities Engineering Department Policies and Procedures at least annually. Ability to operate a computer and use computer software. The Patient Access representative is responsible for the delivery of critical components of Revenue Cycle understanding regulatory compliance maintaining patient safety through correct patient identification practices and providing excellent customer service. Acts as a liaison between the Patient Access office and all other departments to include external vendors while providing consistent and detailed service. Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills high attention to detail and an aptitude for learning. Promotes teamwork and customer service by demonstrating positive interpersonal relations. Riverside began serving the Virginia Peninsula community in 1916. In 1963, Riverside moved to the present 72-acre location in Newport News on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. A 450-bed facility, Riverside Regional Medical Center is the Virginia Peninsulas most comprehensive medical facility combining the most recent computerized medical technology with a healing environment. The Pavilion is a 250,000 sq. ft., $107 million, 3-story addition to Riverside Regional Medical Center, which opened in 2013. This acute care facility provides a regional cancer care center, the Peninsula regions only comprehensive stroke center, the areas only open-heart surgery program, the regions only Level II Trauma Center, and a cornerstone neurosciences program that includes the Chesapeake, Riverside and University of Virginia Radiosurgery Center.
