The HIMS Analyst I reports directly to the HIMS Operation Manager and the System HIMS Director and indexes scanned documents through point-of-service workflow and then reviews committed patient care documentation for completeness and accuracy. Maintains the integrity of the electronic health record verifies that all discharged charts have been received and acknowledges errors found within the LMR initiating rCare submission when applicable. Retrieves all charts of discharged patients on a daily basis from the various units and/or departments and completes Point of Service (POS) Scanning on the units or other dedicated work area as applicable. Perform routine maintenance of HIM Department scanners as needed monitors and works the OnBase HIM scan queues and answers the phone or pager and assist customers. Acts as a liaison between the HIMS department and other system departments providing consistent and relevant detailed information on issues and trends. The Analyst also provides release of information coverage and back up coverage for other RHS facilities as needed. This position may be required to work from home as needed which requires an internet connection computer and phone access.

The Household LPN promotes guests and residents well-being and satisfaction by supporting person-centered and guest-/resident-directed care.
