This position works under the supervision of the Plant Operations Supervisor and is assigned to the Building Services section of the Plant Operations Department. The responsabilites include both preventive and corrective maintenance functions to hospital utility systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical and plumbing, as well as interior building components. This position is primary in plant and equipment preventive maintenance and assists the Supervisor with building safety inspection. Performs corrective maintenance through work order requests. Rotates on the after hours on- call schedule. Performs all the above-mentioned duties while following RHS and RTH policy and procedure. Performs all other duties as assigned. Riverside Tappahannock Hospital is a 67-bed facility caring for citizens in the Tappahannock, Essex, King and Queen, King William counties and the Northern Neck counties of Richmond, Westmoreland, Northumberland, and Lancaster.
