Riverside Information Systems - Rock Landing
The iCare Credentialed Trainer works under the guidance and direction of the iCare Principal Trainer as well as the iCare Director of Training and Support. This individual provides classroom training to all persons throughout the Health System who require iCare training in the application in which the CT is credentialed in this may include Acute RMG and LLH Divisions. In conjunction with the iCare PT maintains training materials computer based learning modules webinars and reference guides consistent with iCare guidelines. Must possess a positive energetic engaging and knowledgeable demeanor to teach in a 1:1 or classroom setting and be able to interact with all levels of the organization. This individual is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the respective iCare application policies and procedures and workflows for the respective area. This individual must have the ability to understand and translate the functionality of iCare application configuration and workflow into class room presentations. Key attention to detail quality control and ongoing evaluation of training materials / sessions is required. Feedback on changes to the training materials or system build is communicated to the respective iCare Application PT and Analyst in a timely fashion.
The role integrates clinical computer and information science to manage and communicate data information knowledge and wisdom to ensure that the clinical requirements of clinical practice/process are clearly integrated into the clinical application systems. The role is responsible for representing and facilitating support of clinical practice when participating in the planning development coordination of training implementation evaluation and maintenance of clinical information systems. Actively participates in the development prioritization and determination of core clinical decision-support systems by working with end-users and the team to develop system programming requirements while understanding system capabilities and limitations. Identifies system or application issues makes recommendations and implements solutions. Collaborates with other health care technology and clinical leaders to ensure that clinical-related systems support interoperability and transportability of clinical information while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. The role is responsible for facilitating communication from the clinical end users across the patient care areas while working collaboratively and directly with system teams system vendors and technical experts. The role works to optimize the clinical design to meet the needs of a large group of interdisciplinary end users including physicians nurses ancillary clinical and administrative staff. The role participates on clinical application workgroups/teams and process improvement initiatives. Promotes teamwork through appropriate deployment of process technical and human resources in collaboration with Departmental Facility and Health System leaders and project managers. Participates in evaluation review and revision of clinical and information system policies to increase standardization decrease duplication and improve efficiency and productivity.
